In 2007, Big Ben diversified
In 2007, Big Ben diversified its construction activities to include both Commercial and Sectional title developments. Additional mechanized equipment including teleporters, a hoist and conveyors have been acquired and successful commercial and sectional title developments have been completed both on time and within budget.
Specialist staff in these fields have been procured and our abilities and track record continue to expand exponentially.
The humble beginnings
Big Ben Construction was formerly Century City Construction, which was responsible for the initial residential developments in the Century City precinct. Century City Construction provided a whole ambit of services from Town Planning, to Civil infrastructure, to marketing, construction and final handover to clients of a variety of residential developments at Century City.
In recent years, Big Ben has become more focused, concentrating primarily on pure construction. The skills base and knowledge of all phases of development, particularly residential, however, remain in the company and we are able to share these skills and knowledge with our development clients in the planning of their developments.

One of our Prestigious Projects
Recent projects undertaken include Waterstone West - a 7000 square metre sectional title residential development, which won the prestigious SAPOA Award for Innovative Excellence for being Top Residential Development in South Africa in 2010 - as well as a number of office blocks in Central Park, all at Century City.
